Our homecare assistants are carefully selected and rigorously checked to ensure they are up to the standard we expect. It is important to us that all our homecare assistants are dedicated to their role and passionate about providing the highest quality care. All our homecare assistants are criminal records checked and clear an extensive vetting procedure before meeting any clients. All applicants must provide 4 satisfactory references and be suitably skilled and experienced. All staff undergo extensive training, delivered in house, to ensure they are meet our standards and can deliver the quality care we expect. They are trained thoroughly during the initial training period before undertaking shadowing with experienced staff. Only when we are completely satisfied are they then allowed to work independently. All staff undertake continued professional development throughout their career including specialist training in dementia, disabilities, specialist conditions, dignity and respect.
