Westmorland homecare has be on a very exciting journey over the last 18 months, we have the very exciting news of welcoming our New Care Manager.
I have been working in social care for over 15 years and I have a wide range of experience in my professional career including prisons, probation and various charity roles in Age UK, Galloways Society For the Blind and more recently working with adults with learning disabilities. I have varying qualifications including my Level 5 in Leadership and Management and I am currently studying towards my Masters in Professional Practice. I also won the prestigious national Butler Trust Award in 2012 for service delivery, development and good practice.
I am absolutely delighted to be able to be a part of the Westmorland Homecare family and to work with you all to make a difference to people’s lives no matter how small or big their service is. I have a true passion for making a difference and helping those who need it most, it might be us one day who needs the support.
As Care Manager I want to lead the team and inspire them to be the best they can be, offer trust and high quality services to those who use our services using the core values of Westmorland Homecare of kindness, trust, innovation and enrichment.
Outside of work I like to walk my dog (Mia), visit stately homes, go walking, do aerobics and yoga but my most favourite thing to do is to spend time with my two gorgeous nephews, Robert and Angus (age 2.5 and 1 year old). Looking forward to meeting you all as a team and spending time with you individually to get to know you all.
